Scarlett Johansson calls her red carpet kiss with Jonathan Bailey a funny and harmless moment.

Scarlett Johansson knows how to keep things light, even when the internet can’t stop talking. Her playful red carpet moment with Jurassic World Rebirth co-star Jonathan Bailey had fans buzzing everywhere, and now she’s finally sharing what she thinks about it.

If you missed it, Bailey got closer and gave Johansson a quick kiss when they were on the press tour of the film. This clip went viral in a few hours. Memes, tweets, and reactions spread like wildfire. However, for Johansson, this kiss wasn’t that deep. At the Toronto International Film Festival, where she was also promoting her directorial debut, Eleanor the Great, she laughed it off: “It was such a funny, silly thing.”

At home, things stayed pretty chill too. Scarlett Johansson said that she and her husband (Colin Jost) didn’t even talk about it. However, she admitted that the internet won’t let it go easily.

She explained that these little things happen naturally when actors spend so much time together. “We live like a family for months while shooting, so there’s a lot of love and closeness,” she said. Basically, if you’ve ever been in a drama club, you will understand it.

Of course, Jost couldn’t resist cracking a joke about it. He compared the surprise kiss to a classic Jurassic Park twist: “The attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there.” He also laughed at how people reacted to this clip. He called it “nuts.”

Bailey had his own take. He says that life’s too short, so you should show love to your friends. “If you can’t kiss your friends, what’s the point?” he said with a grin.
