When my parents were kids, living in the downtown apartments of New York, news tended to travel fast. If a kid heard about something, they’d stick their head out the window and shout it to the whole neighborhood. Folks would be running up and down the streets singing the tales of… I dunno, Nick from the fifth floor getting his hand stuck in a pickle jar or something. In a way, this could be considered a precursor to the way trends get out and about these days, except instead of sticking your head out a window and shouting, you get on Twitter and shout. And then someone tells you to shut up with your bad takes, which is also kind of like living in a New York neighborhood, come to think of it.
Anyway, for those of you who don’t live in an apartment complex and don’t feel like sharing spicy takes on Twitter, don’t worry, there are plenty of better places to check. Like here for instance! We’ve got the latest trends on tap for you, from the dazzling garments of the latest fashion waves to all the random nonsense your little heart could desire. These days, you don’t even need someone to tell you Nick from the fifth floor got his hand stuck in a pickle jar, because it’s probably already trending.
