65 years old and Angus Young still looks good in a schoolboy outfit.

AC/DC is, of course, one of the pillars of classic rock. When a dude marches around in a boy’s prep school uniform whaling on a guitar with another dude singing about dirty deeds being done for dirt cheap, you don’t forget it. However, the group’s members aren’t spring chickens, and while they do love the musician’s life, it has begun to wear on them.

During their last tour in 2016, the Rock or Bust Tour, lead vocalist Brian Johnson had to bow out midway through due to developing hearing problems, leaving Guns n’ Roses vocalist and friend of the band Axl Rose to take his place for the remainder of the tour. Drummer Phil Rudd didn’t even make it to the tour, having been arrested in New Zealand for drug possession and, in the words of the report, “attempting to procure a murder.” Bassist Cliff Williams left the group at the end of the tour, though thankfully on good circumstances. It seemed like AC/DC was done for good, but rock has a away of delivering surprises.

Over the last several days, the official AC/DC Twitter has received several mysterious teaser posts, all showing the group’s trademark lightning bolt symbol gradually flickering back to life. It all culminated today when a poster was posted featuring the entire band back together again, along with the hashtag #PWRUP, or “power up.” It’s not quite clear whether PWRUP is an album, a single, or heaven forbid, a new tour, but the point is that the group is back together in its entirety, including Stevie Young, Angus Young’s nephew, who has been the group’s rhythm guitarist since the passing of Malcom Young in 2015.

Whatever this new endeavor is, it promises to be a truly electrifying experience for classic rock fans.
