Prince Harry and Meghan Evicted from UK Cottage
King Charles is giving the property to Prince Andrew.
When they were still living in the United Kingdom and in the good graces of the Royal Family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home was in Frogmore Cottage, a small property owned by the British Royal Family. However, following the publication of Harry’s memoir, Spare, the two have decisively fallen out of the family’s good graces. This is why Harry’s father, the recently-crowned King Charles III, is taking the property back.
King Charles announced this week that Prince Harry and Markle are being officially evicted from Frogmore Cottage. In their place, the King plans to give the property to another British Royal, Prince Andrew.
“This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK,” an anonymous source informed The U.S. Sun.
Andrew has been living in the Royal Lodge, which means the property would be a major downgrade for him. For this reason, he has reportedly been trying to push back against the decision, but the King plans to force him to take ownership of the cottage.

“Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week,” the source told The Sun. “But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction.”
As for the formerly-royal couple, they don’t seem especially bothered by the fallout following the release of Spare. “Harry said he was really happy about the success of the book and the reaction to it,” an anonymous insider told Page Six. “He said he had no regrets about any of the revelations, and he’s relieved to have got his story out into the world. There’s been an amazing reaction to it, he said.”
