Now that Florida is open again, it’s time to give summer a proper greeting—while keeping health and safety in mind of course. Tucked away just off East 3rd Avenue in New Smyrna Beach is Norwood’s Eatery & Treehouse Bar, a hidden gem as called by locals, that is famous for serving delicious drinks way up high in a beautiful treehouse.
If you remember the days of being a kid and spending all your time in a treehouse, you’ll know that a treehouse has this magical ability to make you feel like you’re in another world. And that’s exactly what Norwood’s Eatery & Treehouse Bar does. Illuminated by the soft glow of fairy lights and nestled in a sea of green leaves, Floridians from far and wide come to this bar to take in the refreshing evening breeze while sipping on some of the cheapest cocktails around.
#FLTravelChat for a bite to eat you've got to stop at Norwood's Eatery & TreeHouse Bar! It's located right off A1A and who doesn't want to eat in a treehouse? Saturdays also bring a farmers market from 8-12 with plenty of samples and fresh treats! #LoveNSBhttps://t.co/ci8jfNkUaD pic.twitter.com/Pxi3VqhWHX

Norwood’s always has a bunch of great daily specials too; weekly specials include $5 mimosas or Bloody Marys all day on Sundays, $5 Mojitos on Mondays, half-priced house and draft wines on Wednesdays, and half-priced draft beers on Thursdays.
But aside from their great drinks and views, Norwood’s is also a proud environmentally friendly restaurant. The establishment sources food locally and uses its food waste as compost for a sustainable garden.
If you’re looking to hit a bar for a relaxing afternoon or a fun night out on the town and just so happen to be in the area, check out Norwood’s Eatery & Treehouse Bar, which is back to its normal operating business hours from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant also offers Take-Out and Curbside pickup.
