Blake Shelton, country music star and self-proclaimed “curious man,” just took self-roasting to a hilarious new level. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Shelton dove headfirst into the absurd during the “Wing It & Sing It” segment—a challenge where celebs perform ridiculous songs without ever seeing the lyrics beforehand. What unfolded was a musical journey through the wild (and totally fake) terrain of Shelton’s supposed Google search history, and let’s just say, it was comedy gold.

Shelton started strong, crooning about his inner inquisitiveness while reading lines off cue cards handed to him by a smirking Kimmel. “I Googled ‘How to give myself a Rachel hairdo,’” he sang. “And ‘Why did my testicle turn bright blue?’” As the audience roared, Shelton paused to laugh at his own ridiculousness before diving back into the lyrical chaos.

The song took a sharp turn into TMI territory, with Shelton confessing his online research into the effects of swallowing a nickel and whether Bigfoot would “kill or caress” him. (Spoiler alert: a hilariously photoshopped image of Shelton buddying up with Bigfoot popped up behind him.) And then, as if things couldn’t get more surreal, he pondered, “Can licking a bullfrog give me malaria?” followed by the ultimate search-engine classic: “Are there any horny grandmas in my area?”

Even Gwen Stefani, Shelton’s superstar wife, wasn’t safe from the roast. The song hilariously revealed Shelton frantically Googling “last-minute birthday gifts for Gwen Stefani” and even asking the internet what a “hollaback girl” is. Shelton might be a chart-topping artist, but Gwen’s fandom apparently requires some serious homework.

The pièce de résistance came when Shelton revealed that he (allegedly!) searches for himself as People’s 2017 Sexiest Man Alive “at least three times a day.” With the line, “It was the year of the cock rooster,” he solidified his status as a comedic legend.

As Shelton wrapped up the song, the audience showered him with applause and laughter. Turning to Kimmel, he quipped, “Thank you for that opportunity,” as if he hadn’t just taken the internet’s most embarrassing questions and made them into prime-time entertainment.

Blake Shelton might be a country music icon, but his comedic timing—and willingness to laugh at himself—is a close second. And while his Google search history might not actually include half the nonsense he sang about, we’re all better off for the laugh. One thing’s for sure: Gwen’s next birthday gift is going to be unforgettable… assuming Shelton doesn’t wait until the last minute.
