Joe Exotic’s longtime nemesis has officially taken his zoo.

Carole Baskin, an animal rights activist made famous by the Netflix docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, spent multiple years in a legal and PR battle against the owner of the G.W. Exotic Animal Park, Joseph Maldonado-Passage, also known as Joe Exotic. Baskin sued Exotic, she sued his park, she sued his business, and she also sued his mom for some reason. The two also went back and forth smearing each others’ reputations, with Baskin decrying Exotic’s business practices on her social media and podcast, while Exotic spread rumors that Baskin murdered her husband and fed him to her tigers.

Exotic, as you likely know if you watched the show, is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for plotting to have Baskin murdered. Due to his incarceration, Exotic isn’t really in the best position to be defending his property. Well, technically, it’s not even his property; his park, formerly G.W. Exotic Animal Park, now the Tiger King Zoo, is currently owned by his former business associate, Jeff Lowe. With Exotic out of the picture, and herself in the public eye, Baskin has apparently decided to bring their rivalry to a conclusive finish.

A court in the Western District of Oklahoma ruled on Monday that Baskin would take control of the Tiger King Zoo. Jeff Lowe and his associates must vacate the premises in the next 120 days, and all animals must be turned over to Baskin’s animal rights group, Big Cat Rescue. Baskin will also assume ownership of all buildings and vehicles located on the property, though if she plans to do anything with any of them, she hasn’t said so publicly.
