Woman Arrested for Assaulting a Couple with a Wine Bottle
A routine gas station purchase takes a dangerous turn as a disagreement over a bottle of wine.
In a shocking incident at a local gas station in Sanford, Florida, a dispute over an unexpected purchase took a violent turn, leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Angelique Dion Glenn on Thursday.
According to the Sanford Police Department, Glenn allegedly became agitated when a couple mistakenly paid for her bottle of wine along with their gas station purchase. When the couple requested a refund upon realizing the error, tensions escalated.
Witnesses reported that Glenn, refusing to accept the situation, verbally threatened the couple before resorting to violence. She wielded the bottle of wine as a weapon, striking the woman in the head and rendering her boyfriend unconscious.

The suspect continued her assault, making additional threats as the victims retreated to the parking lot. Despite an attempt to flee the scene using an Uber, Glenn was reportedly refused service and subsequently left the gas station on foot.
Angelique Dion Glenn was apprehended by law enforcement and now faces two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She has been booked at the Seminole County Jail.
