While chatting about her acting career and life these days, Pfeiffer dropped the surprise in the most casual way. “I might announce on this show that I became a grandmother last year,” she said, before admitting, “It’s heaven. It’s ridiculous.”

She laughed about how, if she had known how amazing grandmotherhood would feel, she might have taken on fewer projects.
