She says being a grandma feels like heaven.
Michelle Pfeiffer has some adorable news to share, and fans can’t stop smiling about it. The actress revealed on the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes that she’s officially a grandmother.
While chatting about her acting career and life these days, Pfeiffer dropped the surprise in the most casual way. “I might announce on this show that I became a grandmother last year,” she said, before admitting, “It’s heaven. It’s ridiculous.”
The moment instantly melted hearts. Pfeiffer went on to explain that this new chapter has shifted her outlook on life. She laughed about how, if she had known how amazing grandmotherhood would feel, she might have taken on fewer projects. Still, she’s grateful for every role and believes the experience has made her more relaxed and even better as an actress.
Pfeiffer and her husband, writer-producer David E. Kelley, are over the moon about this milestone. The couple shares two kids, Claudia and John. She didn’t disclose much about the baby because she wanted to keep the details private. However, it’s clear she’s enjoying every second of her new role.
Family has always been at the center of Pfeiffer’s life. Over the years, she stepped away from Hollywood to focus on raising her kids. Now, she’s finding that same balance again with her grandchild.
Of course, Pfeiffer isn’t slowing down completely. She’s set to star in the Yellowstone spinoff The Madison and the holiday comedy Oh. What. Fun. But no matter how busy her schedule gets, she says nothing comes close to the joy of being “Grandma.”
