The skims owner shows off her secret tattoo and the meaning behind it

Kim Kardashian made the iconic statement that she would never get a tattoo during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show back in 2009.

Host Wendy questioned Kim, who was seated next to her if she had any tattoos herself after Kim’s sister Khloé showed off some of the body art. Kim responded with her now-famous line, “Honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?”

Even though Kim used to compare getting a tattoo to putting a “bumper sticker on a Bentley,” she recently admitted on The Kardashians that she had gotten one covertly in a surprise location.

The segment, which aired earlier this year, features Kim opening up to her close friend and hairstylist Chris Appleton about how, after hosting Saturday Night Live in 2021, she had a covert tattoo.

“You guys, something you don’t know about me,” she replied. “Me and all my friends got matching tattoos, and everyone got them on their hands, and I was like, ‘There’s not a shot I will get a tattoo.'”

Cut to a behind-the-scenes video of Kim getting her tattoo while being accompanied by her sister, Khloe Kardashian, and a couple of her friends.

“I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” she jokingly said.

She says, “It’s an infinity symbol,” and then goes on to describe the events of the evening she got her tattoos.

And why did she decide to take a different stand? In the old video of her at the parlor, she quipped, “This is how you celebrate SNL with a little tattoo at 4:30 in the morning.”
