Jeremy Renner Recovering at Home After Accident
Renner is with his family at home after two weeks in the hospital.
At the beginning of January, prominent actor Jeremy Renner, best known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was severely injured in an accident. According to reports, Renner had been helping one of his neighbors with plowing the snow in their driveway when he was run over by a 7-ton PistenBully snowplow. Renner had reportedly noticed the vehicle rolling and was attempting to get behind its wheel to take control when he was injured.
Renner suffered intense injuries across his entire body, the worst being blunt chest trauma. Renner’s neighbors called for an ambulance, though their arrival was delayed 40 minutes due to weather conditions. In the meantime, the neighbors went out to Renner to supply first aid. Eventually, the ambulance arrived, and Renner was taken to a local hospital for surgery. He then spent two weeks in the hospital recovering.
This week, Renner was finally released from the hospital and allowed to return home with his family. On his personal Twitter, where he had been keeping fans abreast of his condition, he mentioned looking forward to being at home again so he could watch the new season of Mayor Of Kingstown on Paramount+ with them, in which he stars.
