Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu embarked on a visit to the United States that included an insightful tour of the Tesla factory in Fremont, California. During this visit, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife, Sara Netanyahu, had the unique opportunity to meet with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, and gain firsthand insights into the company’s groundbreaking developments.

Elon Musk personally guided Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife through the Tesla factory, providing an overview of the company’s impressive achievements and showcasing various Tesla models. The trio also had the extraordinary experience of riding in a battery-electric full-size pickup truck, offering a glimpse into the future of sustainable transportation.

The official Prime Minister of Israel’s Twitter account (@X) shared images and videos from this momentous meeting, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to visit Tesla’s manufacturing facility. The tweets detailed the visit, with one reading, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara toured the @Tesla Motors plant in Fremont, California, together with Tesla CEO, entrepreneur @ElonMusk.” Another tweet highlighted the prime minister’s engagement with Elon Musk, stating, “The Prime Minister and his wife were briefed by Elon Musk on company developments and various models, and observed the production and assembly line for advanced electric vehicles.”

A notable highlight of the visit was when Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife took a ride in Tesla’s eagerly anticipated ‘Cybertruck,’ a groundbreaking electric vehicle with remarkable capabilities. Scheduled for release this year, the Cybertruck boasts an impressive range of 250–500 miles (400–800 km) and an estimated 0 to 60 mph time of 2.9–6.5 seconds, showcasing Tesla’s commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.

Tesla introduced the Cybertruck in 2019, featuring its unique stainless-steel construction and futuristic design. The electric truck is positioned as a vehicle that offers “better utility than a truck with more performance than a sports car,” according to Tesla’s official website.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu also took the opportunity to discuss the importance of fighting anti-Semitism on Tesla’s X platform with Elon Musk, highlighting the shared commitment to addressing important societal issues.
