Armie Hammer Drops Bombshell Podcast & Reflects on Scandal
Actor Armie Hammer has officially launched The Armie HammerTime Podcast, opening up about the scandal that derailed his career nearly four years ago. In a bold Instagram announcement on Monday, Hammer described the podcast as a no-holds-barred chronicle of “putting my life back together.”
“Some of you are going to love this, and some of you are going to f—ing hate it,” Hammer teased in the post, promising candid conversations with guests who have also faced personal struggles and public scrutiny.
The podcast’s debut episode features comedian Tom Arnold, with both stars delving into their stories of addiction, the perils of fame, and what it’s like to rebuild in the shadow of controversy. Hammer candidly revisits the darkest chapters of his life, including the allegations that hit in early 2021, accusing him of disturbing sexual conduct and violence. While Hammer maintains that all relationships were consensual, he concedes his past emotional abuses and discusses the intense fallout that followed.
“When the s— hit the fan, it wasn’t all at once,” Hammer shares with Arnold. “It started as little pieces of s—, and then it was like a whole avalanche. My agent dropped me, my projects disappeared. I remember my attorney telling me to ‘shut the f— up,’ and I did. I went completely silent.”
The controversy went nuclear after accusations surfaced of messages allegedly sent by Hammer, revealing explicit BDSM desires and even references to cannibalism, an aspect of the scandal Arnold jokingly calls his “favorite.” Hammer, laughing, admitted, “I’m not gonna lie, I kinda like the cannibal stuff now.” He reflects with a grin on how surreal it is to have faced such extreme public scrutiny.
Hammer recalls friends calling to reassure him they “know the real Armie,” but it was a weed farmer’s perspective that truly hit home. “He goes, ‘You set your house on fire and now you want your friends to run into a burning house with you?’ That changed things for me.”
This latest venture has Hammer taking control of his narrative, offering fans a front-row seat to the wild ride that’s been his life. As he faces the next chapter, Hammer promises that The Armie HammerTime Podcast will be “as raw and real as it gets.”
