Elon Musk’s Toddler X Steals the Spotlight at Trump Rally
At President-elect Donald Trump’s pre-inauguration rally, it wasn’t just Elon Musk’s big plans that captured everyone’s attention—it was his playful four-year-old son, X Æ A-12 (pronounced ex-ash-ay–twelve), who stole the show.
Elon Musk, known for his bold ideas and innovation, took the stage to discuss his plans as the head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). But little X, full of energy and excitement, quickly became the star of the evening.
“Little X just followed me on stage here,” Musk laughed as his son waved and jumped around. “He’s a very enthusiastic supporter, as you can see!”
At one point, Musk raised his arms to rally the crowd, and X mimicked the gesture with an adorable sense of victory. The audience couldn’t get enough of the heartwarming father-son moment.

Big Plans for Big Changes
While X brought smiles to the crowd, Musk stayed focused on the future. He promised to streamline government spending, aiming to cut up to $2 trillion from the federal budget. “This is just the beginning,” Musk said. “We’re going to make America stronger for generations.”
DOGE is already hiring, with 50 employees on board and plans to double that number soon, prioritizing engineers to bring Musk’s vision to life.

Partisan Challenges
Not everyone is on board with Musk’s plans. Two prominent Democrats applied to join DOGE but were quickly turned away. Trump’s administration made it clear they’re sticking to Republican hires only, as part of their “out with the old, in with the new” approach.
The rejected applicants have since launched a nonprofit group to keep an eye on DOGE’s work, raising questions about ethics and transparency.
A Night to Remember
While Musk’s ambitious goals for the government are sure to spark debate, the rally’s highlight was undeniably X Æ A-12. His playful antics reminded everyone in the room that even in politics, moments of pure joy can shine through.
As one attendee put it, “Elon Musk came to talk about the future, but tonight his son showed us how to live in the moment.”
