Jason Momoa has shocked the internet again. This time, it’s not for an action scene or red carpet appearance. The Aquaman star has shaved off his beard, and fans worldwide are losing it online. Why? Because it’s the first time in six years that Jason Momoa has gone beardless, and this transformation is only for a movie role.
Jason is officially returning as Duncan Idaho in Dune: Part 3. The beard has been shaved off, and in a funny Instagram video, he said, “Goddammit. I hate it. Only for you, Denis.”
In the video, he referred to Denis Villeneuve, who is the director of the Dune series. Denis wanted Jason to clean-shave his beard for the character. Although Jason wasn’t happy about this appearance, he agreed.
This isn’t the first time Jason has removed his beard for Dune. Back in 2019, he shaved his beard for the first part of the film series. Jason Momoa said in an interview that Denis was a little nervous when he asked him about the character. However, he respected the vision and went with it.

Some said he looked like Kirstie Alley or even Steve Bannon in drag. It became a meme fest. Well, that was a hoax. But this time, Jason is actually clean-shaved, and it’s trending for all the right (and LOL-worthy) reasons.
