The Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, has recently disclosed one of the funniest and most awkward moments of her life. While chatting with Seth Meyers on Late Night, she told how she accidentally came between a popular Hollywood couple at a San Diego Comic-Con party back in 2014.
Sophie Turner said she took her school friend along to the Comic-Con party. Her friend spotted an actor she was a big fan of. So, just to make her friend happy, Sophie gave a little smile to the actor and waved at him. That was it. Nothing more. But soon things got messy.
Sophie said that she noticed that well-known actress staring at her. Thinking it was her chance to say hello, Sophie said she walked over to her. But instead of a warm welcome, that well-known actress gave her an angry comment:
“Can you stop flirting with my fiancé?”
Sophie was stunned. “I had no idea who this man even was,” she laughed while speaking. According to Sophie, things between the couple got so messy that they ended their engagement that very night.
“Turns out, I think they broke their engagement off because of my wave. I didn’t realize I held this power,” she joked.
Seth Meyers also didn’t stop laughing. He teased her that it was actually the fault of her friend. Sophie agreed and joked back, “Yeah, look what you did!”
Sophie didn’t reveal the name of the couple. However, after listening to her story, everybody has started guessing which Hollywood pair ended their engagement due to that innocent wave.
