Sofía Vergara Finds Clever Way to Keep Joe Manganiello Tattoo

Sofía Vergara has found a smart way to keep her tattoo of her ex-husband Joe Manganiello’s initials. In an interview with The Talk, Vergara shared her plan to keep the “J” on her wrist.

Vergara, known for Modern Family and Griselda, revealed she has two tattoos: one with her late brother’s initials on her left wrist and another with the letter “J” on her right wrist. “This was Joe Manganiello’s initial,” she explained, to audience applause.

The twist? Her new boyfriend, Dr. Justin Saliman, has the same initial. “How lucky can I be that the guy I’m going out with has the same initial?” Vergara joked. “Recycle, recycle.”

Vergara and Manganiello started dating in 2014 and married in November 2015. They announced their separation last July and finalized their divorce in February.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the ex-couple stated. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time.”

Vergara also expressed disappointment with her son Manolo’s many tattoos. Manolo admitted, “I think like 34 by this point,” to which his mom responded, “Stop it. I’m leaving.”

“I’m a tattoo person,” Manolo said, comparing his tattoos to a journal. Vergara humorously lamented, “I gave him this beautiful Latin dark skin, and now you can’t see it, you just see those little things there.”
