A behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming Superman movie has gone viral across social media. And this time, it’s not just fans who are talking about it. The short video clip shows Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Lois Lane, sharing a kiss with David Corenswet’s Clark Kent.
Well, on-screen kisses are nothing new in Hollywood. However, this one stirred up buzz. It is because Brosnahan appeared to continue kissing Corenswet even after the director said “cut.”
This particular kissing moment quickly went viral on social media, and it has divided fans. Some defended Brosnahan and said that she was already mid-action when the scene ended. On the other hand, others argued the kiss looked a little too real and it was longer than expected.

But what really fueled the conversation was the reaction from Brosnahan’s husband, actor Jason Ralph. Fans noticed that Ralph had “liked” a comment under one of his Instagram posts. In the comment, Brosnahan was criticized. The comment claimed that Ralph should “stand up for himself” and not allow such behavior.
The screenshots of his supposed interaction with the comment spread like wildfire. It led people to believe he was quietly expressing his feelings.
Not long after the chatter picked up, Ralph turned off comments on his Instagram. This action added more curiosity about where he really stands. As of now, Brosnahan’s husband, Jason Ralph, hasn’t made any direct statement about the kiss or the social media noise.
Meanwhile, neither Brosnahan nor Corenswet has publicly addressed the viral moment either. The clip continues to trend. It seems this Superman kiss has created as much drama off-screen as it has on-screen.
