Pizza Hut Gives Away Pizzas to Graduates
Well, that’s one thing for students to look forward to, at least.
The pandemic has made it a bit of an unenviable time to be a student. Some schools have been forced to cut their academic years short, and among those, some have decided to make this particular year count for fewer credits. That’s really gotta stink. Graduates don’t have things much better, as it’s not exactly a great time to go looking for a job. This is why a lot of businesses have taken it upon themselves to do a little something nice for graduates. One such business is Pizza Hut.
The pizza chain announced over the weekend that they would be offering free one-topping medium pizzas to all graduates until Thursday, May 28. If you go to the chain’s graduation site and make an account, you can upload a picture of your diploma and redeem a pizza. Pizza Hut’s giving away 500,000 of these bad boys, and they’ve got no shortage of cheese thanks to a partnership with American dairy farmers.
The initial response to this promotion was so positive, they actually had to shut the portal down for a couple of days to catch up. It should be back online today, though, so make an account and claim your free pizza. And in the event you’re not craving pizza right this second, you can actually wait until June 4 to actually pick it up, as long as you claim the promotion before Thursday. Like I said, it’s not an easy time to be a student right now, but if anything is guaranteed to put at least a little smile on someone’s face, it’s free pizza.
