Jennifer Lopez Fans Stunned as Luis Guzmán Calls Her ‘Okay’

Luis Guzmán knows how to keep it real, and his latest comments about Jennifer Lopez are proof of that.

The actor, best known these days as Gomez Addams in Netflix’s Wednesday, joined his co-stars Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, and Georgie Farmer on Hot Ones Versus. During the fun challenge, Luis Guzmán was asked to describe some of his past co-stars in just one word.

He started off with sweet compliments. Adam Sandler? “Amazing.” Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays his wife in Wednesday? He went with “bellisima,” which means beautiful in Italian. Everything seemed smooth until the name of Jennifer Lopez came up.

Instead of giving J.Lo the glowing words fans expected, Guzmán simply said, “OK.” That was it. One tiny word. The room instantly got a little awkward. Ortega and Myers laughed nervously. Joy Sunday’s eyes went wide, and the whole internet started talking about it.

Clips of the moment quickly went viral. J.Lo’s fans started defending her. Some joked that Guzmán must have been keeping his compliments on low power mode. Others were shocked that one of the world’s biggest stars only got an “OK.”

But to be fair, Guzmán didn’t end things on a sour note. When asked to describe Jenna Ortega, he immediately called her a “prodigy.” Ortega smiled and told him, “Aw, I love you,” while he mouthed the same words back. It was a sweet way to wrap up the segment.
