Kelly Ripa Jokes about ‘Airport Divorce,’ and Mark Consuelos Reacts Live on Air

A funny travel chat between Kelly and Mark turns into a lighthearted argument on live TV.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos gave fans a big laugh on ‘Live With Kelly and Mark’ when a simple talk about travel turned into a playful argument. It all began when Kelly shared her idea of an “airport divorce.”

She explained it in her own funny way. “We arrive at the airport and then go our separate ways until we meet on the plane,” Kelly said. Her reason was simple. “You and I have different travel styles,” she told Mark.

Mark looked surprised and asked, “What do you mean? I walk too fast?” Kelly laughed and said, “No, you just like to get there about four to sixteen hours early.” The crowd burst out laughing as Mark shook his head.

He defended himself, saying he only likes to reach the airport two hours early for international flights and an hour and a half for domestic ones. But Kelly didn’t stop there. She teased him for getting annoyed when people at the airport recognize them. Mark quickly replied, “That’s not true. I’m nice to everyone. Don’t say that. Not cool.”

Kelly laughed and said he might not be mad at the fans but often gets annoyed with her. That’s when she brought up a past airport story. Mark’s TSA PreCheck had expired, and she stayed with him in the regular line instead of going through the fast lane alone. But according to Kelly, Mark still got irritated while waiting.

Mark laughed and said her version wasn’t accurate. “We both remember it differently,” he said, smiling. The friendly argument had everyone laughing, and the couple’s chemistry once again showed why fans love watching them together.
