Late-night host sets the record straight after quarterback’s speculation.

In response to recent allegations made by New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show,” late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has come forward to address the claims and set the record straight.

During the show, Rodgers speculated about the potential involvement of various public figures in the Jeffrey Epstein case, including Kimmel. Rodgers’ comments insinuated that Kimmel might be connected to the case, prompting a swift response from the late-night host.

“For the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel stated in a social media post. He also expressed concern that Rodgers’ words could put his family in danger and hinted at possible legal action if the allegations continued.

Rodgers, who played briefly for the Jets this season before sustaining an Achilles injury, has yet to respond to Kimmel’s statement. Meanwhile, Pat McAfee, host of the show where Rodgers made the comments, attempted to defuse the situation by acknowledging Kimmel’s concerns while downplaying Rodgers’ remarks as playful banter.

This exchange is the latest development in a series of interactions between Kimmel and Rodgers dating back to 2021 when Kimmel criticized Rodgers for his stance on the COVID-19 vaccine. The two have also clashed over Rodgers’ comments on UFO sightings, with Kimmel poking fun at the quarterback on his show.

The recent controversy comes amidst the impending release of a list of alleged associates and victims of Jeffrey Epstein. Over 100 names have been made public as part of a settled civil lawsuit against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who was found guilty of conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse underage girls. The release of the list has been delayed until January to allow those involved time to appeal their listing.
