“As opposed to…?” Gwyneth’s confused reaction makes the prank even funnier
Gwyneth Paltrow may be the boss at Goop, but even she isn’t safe from her playful team’s sense of humor.
In a recent video posted on the official TikTok of Goop, the 52-year-old actress and lifestyle brand founder turns out to be the target of a light-hearted prank. The video has followed a popular trend where employees give their boss random updates all day. The updates that have absolutely no purpose but to confuse the boss and entertain.
The prank begins with Gwyneth, who was standing near a dining table. A Goop employee casually comes and says, “My laptop’s charged.” Looking puzzled but a little amused, Paltrow responds with, “As opposed to…?” The dry humor in her reply made it clear what was to come.
In the next scene, the employee suddenly interrupts a team meeting and happily says, “Drank all my water!” Paltrow, staying calm, replies, “There you go. She’s getting hydrated,” and then continues her day.

But the most funniest part comes when the employee walks up to Paltrow at a kitchen counter and says, “Did you see I’m wearing G. Label?” Paltrow smiles like she knows the prank is going on and replies, “I did,” and starts laughing.
Everyone in the TikTok comments loved the chill attitude of the Oscar-winning actress.
One fan wrote, “She’s so effortlessly funny.” Another added, “Her reaction is gold. Unbothered queen.” A third fan joked, “I wish my boss was like this!”
