Drake Drops Bombshell in New Song ‘Search & Rescue’: Kim Kardashian Talks Divorce
Kim Kardashian’s Voice on Drake’s New Single Ignites Rumors and Raises Eyebrows
Drake is stirring up drama again with his latest song, “Search & Rescue.” In the track, the Canadian rapper appears to be taking a jab at Kanye West by featuring dialogue from West’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, apparently discussing her divorce from the rapper.
The sample features Kardashian saying to her mother, Kris Jenner, “I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy.” This line seems to allude to the fact that Kardashian’s marriage to West had reached its breaking point.
The divorce between Kardashian and West was finalized in November 2022, after a tumultuous few years that saw the couple share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Meanwhile, West has recently faced severe backlash for making numerous racist and anti-Semitic remarks. He is embroiled in a wrongful termination lawsuit from former employees of his Donda Academy, who alleged that the school violated several health, safety, and educational codes.
As for Drake and West’s complicated relationship, the two have alternated between being friends and feuding for years. However, they recently teamed up to perform a joint concert in Los Angeles in 2021.
Drake had a lot of people wondering if he'd accomplished the nearly impossible — to get Kim Kardashian to pose in a promo photo with him — and while the woman with him definitely raised some Kim comparisons, we've figured out her true identity. https://t.co/rXfGFQ9fvJ

It’s worth noting that Kim’s name doesn’t appear in the song’s credits, which includes BNYX, Lil Yachty, producer Justin Raisen, and longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib. However, it’s highly unlikely that Drake would use her dialogue without her permission.
With this latest move, Drake is adding fuel to the fire between him and West, and fans eagerly anticipate how things will escalate from here.
