The reserve players are not expected to play at today’s game.

The Baltimore Ravens are set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers today at the latter’s home turf. However, two of the Ravens’ running backs, J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram, seem to be missing from the team’s roster.

The players’ absence is somewhat understandable, as the two of them tested positive for coronavirus and have been in a 10-day quarantine. However, that quarantine period ended yesterday, and both players seem to be fine. Nevertheless, it seems both of them have been left behind in Baltimore as the rest of the Ravens flew to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Both players have been out of practice since testing positive, and coming off a 6-point loss to the Tennessee Titan, they’re probably not feeling super great about their situations. Dobbins was on track for a lead running back position before his positive reading, while Ingram has seen his role in the offensive lineup gradually diminished.

While Dobbins and Ingram are benched, the Ravens’ starting running back against the Steelers will be Gus Edwards. Edwards has a good track record as a running back, especially against the Steelers, having earned 217 yards and a touchdown against the Pittsburgh team in their last two matchups. Justice Hill and Ty’Son Williams will be the second and third running backs.

On the other end of the field, the Steelers seem to be operating at full capacity despite having three players- James Conner, Stephon Tuitt and Jerald Hawkins- benched. In a bright spot, the Steelers’ coaching staff, several members of which were down with COVID, have recently made a full recovery. Both special teams coordinator Danny Smith and QB coach Matt Canada will both be at today’s game to offer their aid against the Ravens.
