Universal Studios Announces New Jurassic Park Movie with Fresh Storyline
David Koepp to pen screenplay for the new era of the ‘Jurassic World franchise
Universal Studios is thrilled to announce the development of a new installment in the highly successful “Jurassic World” franchise. Renowned screenwriter David Koepp, known for adapting the original “Jurassic World” (1993) and its sequel “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” (1997) from Michael Crichton’s bestselling novels, is set to write the screenplay. This project marks the beginning of an all-new storyline, ushering in a fresh era for the beloved franchise.
While details about the upcoming movie are under wraps, it is uncertain whether fan-favorite stars, including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, will return for this exciting chapter. “Jurassic” mainstay Frank Marshall is returning to produce, accompanied by his regular producing partner Patrick Crowley. Steven Spielberg, executive producer through his company Amblin Entertainment, adds his iconic touch to the project. As of now, no director has been attached to the venture.
